Q: What is the process to have a model built?
Step 1: Choosing a model
Step 2: Project evaluation
Step 3: Make an appointment by phone, email or in person to look at different options
Create a budget for total complete construction
Step 4: 50% down payment
Step 5: Final inspection, quality up to customer satisfaction. Rest of the 50% remaining is due upon
completion.
Q: What is the average factory time frame?
A: Anywhere between 2-6 weeks, dependent upon the model and demand.
Q: Are the structures engineered?
A: Yes
Q: Do the structures meet building codes?
A: Our structures meet all codes but depending on the type of permits and region, some changes may need to be applied. Our structures are inspected and approved by the State of Washington in the factory to meet the International building codes.
Q: Is the concrete included in the price of the models?
A: No. Our structures are designed to be poured once on site of project. They are crafted to be shipped and depending on your region there are different prices for concrete. Upon request Fortress Supplies can call local concrete suppliers for prices.
Q: Can you connect the models together?
A: Yes, we can customize your design and add on as many structures as you'd like.
Q: Can you modify the interior?
A: Yes
Q: What is the height of the ceiling?
A: Ceiling measures 8'6" at the ridge.
Q: What is the total Interior length?
A: 24ft
Q: What is the total Interior width?
A: 8ft
Q: How does the structure hold up in high humidity?
A: We use waterproof and mold resistant drywall. All furniture is solid wood and plywood construction.
A humidifier is advised to ensure proper controls of humidity.
Q: Is the structure able to be water tight?
A: Yes. We provide water tight doors and water tight valves for the air vents that can be easily turned off
Q: Do the structures come with heating?
A: Heating options are available for an additional cost.
Q: How heavy is the structure?
A: The basic model weighs approx. 8500 lbs. Deluxe model weighs approx. 1200lbs.
